Privacy Policy

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the internal software tool operated by Gal Technologies Artificial Intelligence Ltd ("GTAI", "we", "us") handles information obtained from Google accounts. The tool is registered with Google as "Claude Cli" and is a private, internal automation utility. It is not a consumer product, it is not distributed publicly, and it is not offered as a service to third parties.
2. Who this applies to
The tool is used by GTAI personnel on their own Google accounts. Each user authorises the tool against their own Google account and can withdraw that authorisation at any time (see section 8). We do not access any Google account that has not explicitly granted authorisation.
3. Google user data we access
With the user's explicit consent, the tool requests the following access:
• Gmail: read, organise, label, draft and send messages on behalf of the authorising user.
• Gmail settings (basic): read and manage mail filters and labels.
• Google Calendar: read and create calendar events.
• Google Drive: read file metadata and file contents.
Access is limited to the account of the person who granted consent.
4. How we use this data
Google user data is used solely to provide functions the user has explicitly requested, including organising and labelling mail, searching mail, creating calendar events, reading and organising Drive files, and preparing draft email replies.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, or any purpose unrelated to the features the user invokes.
5. Artificial intelligence processing
When a user explicitly asks the tool to generate or suggest a draft email reply, the content of the relevant message is transmitted to a third-party large language model provider in order to produce that draft. The providers used are Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini).
This transmission occurs only when the user initiates a drafting action. It does not occur during routine operations such as labelling, searching or reading mail. Data sent for this purpose is not used by us to train any model. Users who do not wish their message content to be processed in this way should not use the draft-generation feature.
6. Storage and retention
The tool runs locally on the user's own computer. We do not operate a server that receives, stores or processes Google user data.
The OAuth credential issued by Google is stored locally on the user's machine in protected storage and is used only to authenticate subsequent API requests to Google. Message content, calendar entries and file contents are held only transiently in memory for the duration of the requested operation, except where the user deliberately saves output to their own local files.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer it to third parties for advertising or marketing. We do not permit humans to read it, except where required by law, where necessary for security investigations, or with the user's express consent.
The only routine transfer to a third party is the AI processing described in section 5.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Withdrawing access
A user may revoke the tool's access to their Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions by selecting the application and choosing "Remove access". Revocation takes effect immediately. The locally stored credential can be deleted by removing the tool's credential file from the user's machine.
9. Security
Credentials are stored on the user's own machine under that machine's operating system protections. All communication with Google APIs and with AI providers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Because there is no central server, there is no central store of user data to be breached.
10. Children
The tool is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
